The history

A staple presence for over 130 years in the lives and homes of Italians, Gruppo Montenegro was founded in 1885, in Bologna, where Stanislao Cobianchi decided to make the most of his expertise as liqueur maker by starting his enterprise.

In addition to five manufacturing plants in Italy, Gruppo Montenegro has confirmed its leadership role also on foreign markets, from the USA to Australia, from Canada to Eastern Europe.
