From 10th to 15th May,\u00a0on the occasion of ART CITY Bologna 2022<\/strong>, the new edition of the Bologna art week par excellence, the\u00a0historic bottles of the main Gruppo Montenegro brands\u00a0will be the protagonists\u00a0of a\u00a0special installation project \u2013\u00a0\u201cNuova Mixage\u201d\u00a0by the artist Flavio Favelli \u2013 inside\u00a0Bar Vittorio Emanuele, a historic caf\u00e9 in the centre of Bologna.<\/p>\n

The two topics which serve as a guiding thread for this art project are tradition\u00a0and innovation, elements that have always underpinned the growth path of Gruppo Montenegro and all its brands.<\/p>\n

The forty-five bottles in this art project track the progress of iconic brands in the\u00a0Italian liqueur tradition \u2013\u00a0Amaro Montenegro, Vecchia Romagna, Select, Rosso Antico, Coca Buton, Grappa Libarna and Oro Pilla\u00a0\u2013 which have been restyled over time, though always true to their origins and tradition: a journey of discovery across the history of design applied to quality drinking culture.<\/p>\n

Through this work, the artist Flavio Favelli specifically explores the pure form of the bottle, which is generally hidden by the label, a fundamental shape-figure-model within the history of the Western world and art.<\/p>\n
