Between the 1940s and 1950s, Enrico Chiari, an engineer at Chiari & Forti \u2013 then one of Italy\u2019s most important milling companies recognized the value and potential of corn germ. Until then considered a by-product of maize milling, the heart of the corn kernel, rich in vegetable fats, allowed him to obtain an oil with remarkable nutritional properties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Among the first commercials aired on Carosello was the famous Olio Cuore spot featuring the iconic \u201cfence jump\u201d, a gesture that became an image of vitality and well-being and that remains part of Italy\u2019s advertising history. Actor Nino Castelnuovo was the first to perform the leap, later followed by many other well-known personalities.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\n
