Today is the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. Food waste is responsible for 10% of the global greenhouse gases emissions. And by saving ¼ of the food that we waste, we could provide for more than the 800 million people that today do not have access to healthy and nutritious food. This is why we have signed the Pact against Food Waste to have an impact on food waste as a business and share information and best practices on food waste amongst consumers and food business operators: it takes little to make a difference against food waste!
