Francesco Scaglione was born in Montreal, Canada.
He attended Concordia University, graduating in Administrative Management, with Marketing his specialist subject.
He began his career in the Spirits industry in 2001 at Allied Domecq Wine and Spirits, at that time the second largest spirit group in the world, working in the Global Retail division, where he held various positions before his appointment as European Sales Director in 2004.
In January 2006 he moved to London to continue his career at Pernod Ricard, which in the meantime had acquired Allied Domecq, and here he was in charge of the Scotch Whisky and Gin portfolio for USA and Canada
At the end of 2008, Francesco joined Whyte & Mackay as head of Global Travel Retail and the Middle East and Africa markets, helping to make Dalmore and Jura globally recognised brands.
Since 2016 he has been Director International Division at Gruppo Montenegro, in charge of all the Group’s Spirits and Food brands for foreign markets.
